“Git yer Cruise Boots on!”

It’s time to start thinking about the annual Tex-Mex Fandango III and making this Texas Music Cruise the best ever.  It’s what Grammy nominee T. Gozney and his friends call the Tex-Mex Fandango.

We also call this a Texas Cruise.  It sails right out of Galveston and we’ll be going January 30 - February 6, 2011 and we are booking rooms right now. Call soon to get the best prices available.

Here’s some information about T. Gozney Thornton…….

After starting out with Willie and cutting his first album in Willie’s studio  (with Willie footing the bill) T. Gozney Thornton put his family first and went to work in the communications industry.  He made his fortune, sold his cell tower business, and now is back making that great Texas Music.

In addition to T. Gozney Thorton and the Old Hat Band, you will be able to visit with and listen to your favorites played by the likes of Augie Meyers, Joe Forlini, and the great Kenny Daniel of Kenny and the Kasuals.

This year’s Tex-Mex Fandango is all set for January 30 – February 6, 2011 on board Royal Caribbean’s mega-ship, Voyager of the Seas.

Augie Meyers of the Texas Tornadoes

The Tex Mex Fandango III just would not be complete without the legendary Augie Meyers as a very special guest.  Augie started off with Doug Sahm and the Sir Douglas Quintet and later he was the distinctive sound of the Texas Tornadoes.  He has played on many major albums including those of Bob Dylan.

The Good News?

You can get to know this Texas legend personally and also get to know his music.  His son Clay is the marketing power behind Augie these days and there is a new generation of fans out there just waiting to know more about Augie Meyers and his music.  You can go to AugieMeyers.com to learn more about him and purchase a few albums while you are there.

You won’t be disappointed!

Remember!  It’s Sunday, January 30, 2011, when we will sail off to the beaches of Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Montego Bay before heading back towards the starting gate in Galveston.  If you sign up now, you can assure yourself and your friends a spot on the cruise and you can assure yourself a week of great fun with some classy folks.  It’s an annual event so go ahead and contact Texas Cruise Company today to get your deposit in.
