Radiance of the Seas is Remodeled!

Radiance of the Seas is just out of Dry Dock!

What does this mean? She is remodeled, renovated, refurbished, cleaned from top to bottom, and just generally ‘spruced up’. It looks great!

It’s a really big deal when a cruise ship goes into dry dock. The contractors have to work fast to make the new upgrades so the ship can get back to sea. It took 21 Days, 700 Contractors, and 1, 000 crew!  We’re so excited about some of these upgrades that we can’t wait to go to Alaska to sail on the Royal Caribbean Radiance of the Seas! We plan on sailing on June 22, 2012 and yes, you can join us. It’s a cruise tour, the best experience you could have and it is affordable.

Sometimes when a ship gets upgrades or a makeover, they introduce new restaurants, or remodel lounges, or add features to the swimming pools. One of the upgrades we’re excited about is, the added Theater under the Stars! It’s a large outdoor movie screen. It’s like a drive-in picture show, except you are under the stars watching movies as you sail. Can you imagine watching a movie under the stars in Alaska! I can see it now The Sound of Music (just because of the beautiful scenery and singing) or even North To Alaska with John Wayne. Take a look at the movie clip and imagine you are watching it on the big movie screen as you are sailing in Alaska. (I have to add a disclaimer, these are not the movies that Royal Caribbean are playing, don’t know what movie will be playing, but this one is a favorite!)
