From 1964 to 1968,
the top teen band in North Texas

was a five piece combo called Kenny and the Kasuals…..

You can buy his latest CD’s at Kenny B. Daniel. com

Kenny Daniel will be joining us on the TexMex Fandango III this year and bring his great music with him.
Here’s a little more info on Kenny.
With the explosion of Garage bands and teen bands from those days back in the mid ’60′s, being the top band, packing ‘em in at every kind of social gathering under the sun….was no small feat.  But it was Kenny and the Kasuals that stood out and on top.

The band has been featured in write-ups in Rolling Stone (which called them one of the only true sixties bands left in the world), Texas Monthly, D Magazine, Creem, Bomp and Goldmine Magazines and have been featured on television news and variety shows.

Kenny and the Kasuals were featured at this year’s SXSW Music Festival in Austin.

You can get to know Kenny and the other great performers up close and personal by booking a cabin on the Tex-Mex Fandango Cruise III right away.  Call Texas Cruise Company at 1-325-835-7561 for more information and to reserve your cabin.

Kenny and the Kasuals still perform regularly featuring three of the original members (and on certain fun occasions, the entire original band). Two other top-quality musicians round out the current line-up. The music they play is still a high-energy mix of the hits and album dance songs that filled the dance floors in the sixties.

Kenny and the group does songs and cuts from several other big name bands including the Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Beach Boys, The Kinks, the Doors,  and too many more to list here.

From their website at Kenny B. Daniel you can read more about the band that is still rockin’ and gaining fans as soon and you hear them.  Their original album Impact is a collectible and a copy recently sold on eBay for $1,000.

They have opened for some pretty impressive bands including Stray Cats, Oingo Boingo, Patty Smith, The Go Go’s, Yardbirds, The Doors, Beachboys – 3 times , Herman Hermits, Chicago, Poco, The Turtles, The Zombies, Bad Finger, Mountain, Mitch Ryder, Iron Butterfly, Dixie Chicks, Steppenwolf, Guess Who, Eddie Money, Rolling Stones , Stevie Wonder, The Romantics, Beatles, Jimmy Reed, Al Green, Denny Freeman, Marc Benno, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Country Joe And The Fish, Willie Nelson, Pure Prairie League, Leon Russell, Waylon Jennings, Jerry Jeff Walker, Steve Fromholz, and plenty of others.

You can see him most every Saturday Night at the Balcony Club in Lakewood in the Dallas area from 6 to 9 PM, performing with KGB, if not playing another event.

The Tex-Mex Fandango III Cruise is pretty excited about Kenny Daniel joining the cruise this year and bringing with him a great mix of your favorites.
